Compelling documentary "Frame 394" picked up top honours at the Rhode Island International Film Festival last weekend, capturing the prize for "Best Documentary Short" in international competition, and won a similar honor at the Sidewalk Film Festival in Birmingham, Alabama.

Meanwhile "The Babushkas of Chernobyl" - Rob's first feature documentary score - has racked up even more awards, continuing its successful festival run in the 30th anniversary year of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster.  The recent awards:

Short documentary "The Unsinkable Captain John", with an evocative orchestral score by Rob, has been released online. Watch the complete documentary here:

Presented by bravofact and created by Rob's longtime friends and collaborators, director Rich Williamson and producer Shasha Nakhai of Compy Films, this film tells the story of Toronto's landmark floating seafood restaurant, sailed across the Atlantic by Slovenian immigrant "Captain" John Letnik in the 1970s.  A hotspot for decades, the restaurant later declined and fell into disrepair as waterfront development boomed, and soon the City of Toronto began a lengthy court process of evicting Captain John from his longtime...
