Rob's new feature documentary, "This is Gay Propaganda: LGTB and the War in Ukraine", directed by Maruysa Bociurkiw, had its official premiere at both the Vancouver Queer Film Festival in Canada, and the International Summer School in Greifswald, Germany.

 

Greifswalf featured the film as part of an academic forum entitled "Ukrainicum:  Beyond War and Peace: Conflict, Migration, and Civil Society in Contemporary Ukraine".  

 

Rob's score was informed by his firsthand experiences in the Maidan protests of 2014, and includes folk melodies performed by Mark Marczyk, his former bandmate from Lemon Bucket Orkestra, and Marichka Marcyzyk, the renowned Ukrainian folk singer who...
