A work in four movements, “Infinite Streams” explores a variety of moods and textures, drawing from minimalism, popular music, jazz, and bluegrass.

The title is a play on "Third Stream" music of the mid-20th century, which merged jazz and classical to create a new hybrid art form.  Now, in the 21st century, composers and musicians of all genres are free to mix and match their materials, and the number of available "streams" is infinite.

Commissioned by the Colours of Music Festival for Duo Concertante
Premiere: 2 October 2010, Barrie, ON
